Homeschool Resources & Calendar

Kerrville Homeschoolers is a growing homeschool community in the Texas Hill Country dedicated to hands on learning, meaningful connections, and engaging educational experiences for children and families.

Our group offers a variety of opportunities throughout the year including community days, STEM engineering labs, immersive history experiences, writing intensives, science labs, book clubs, and special workshops. Many of our classes are designed as interactive learning experiences where students build, create, experiment, and explore ideas rather than simply sit and listen.

Students may investigate history through artifacts and primary sources, design engineering solutions in STEM challenges, conduct science experiments, or develop strong writing skills through structured writing labs. Our goal is to create learning experiences that are memorable, thought provoking, and deeply engaging.

Kerrville Homeschoolers also provides regular social opportunities where families can connect, build friendships, and support one another in their homeschool journey. Our community days are completely free because we strongly believe that community should always be accessible and available to every homeschooling family.

We welcome homeschooling families from Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country communities.

As our community continues to grow, we are expanding our programs to include additional classes, summer camps, and specialized learning opportunities designed to support curious learners of all ages.

Kerrville Christian Homeschoolers (KCH) is a faith-based homeschool co-op that brings local families together for shared learning, community, and support. The group offers a variety of classes, enrichment opportunities, and social experiences for children of all ages, with parents often participating in teaching or assisting in classes.

KCH meets on Mondays during both a fall and spring semester, with each semester typically running around 10–12 weeks. Classes are generally held in the mornings, most commonly between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., with different class offerings available by age group.

In addition to weekly classes, families can expect opportunities for connection through group activities, events, and field trips throughout the year.

Hill Country Home School Association (HCHSA) is a Christian, volunteer-led homeschool organization serving Kerrville and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

Volunteer Driven
HCHSA is entirely run by volunteers. Families are encouraged to get involved by helping organize events, leading activities, serving on committees, or sharing their own interests and talents with the community.
