Community Fundraiser & Silent Auction for Kaydin

City Nature Challenge
Explore citizen science with Laura Levy using the iNaturalist apps. This family-friendly program includes a short presentation followed by outdoor observations. Bring your mobile device and consider installing the apps ahead of time. Volunteers will be available for support.
Daughters of the American Revolution Celebration
Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and National Library Month with a special all-ages event at the library. Enjoy a colonial-themed storytime presented by DAR, featuring Texas Before the Lone Star, plus a tricorne hat craft and an awards presentation honoring Mary Elizabeth Butt-Holdsworth and the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library. Light refreshments will be served.

Skateboard Competition
Kerrville Skateboard Competition
Grab your board and helmet for the annual Kerrville Skateboard Competition at the Skate Park. Skaters will compete in age divisions with short runs to show off their best tricks, making it fun to watch whether you’re participating or cheering from the sidelines.

Easter Egggstravaganza
Celebrate Easter at The Ridge Marketplace with an egg hunt, Easter Bunny photos, pony rides, a petting zoo, games, crafts, balloon twisting, and a mini cake walk. Egg Hunt begins promptly at 10:15 a.m. so be sure to be on time.
EasterFest
One of Kerrville’s biggest spring celebrations is returning to Flat Rock Park with a full day of family fun. EasterFest features a BBQ cook-off, Easter egg hunt, vendors, live entertainment, and photos with the Easter Bunny.
Families can spend the day exploring vendor booths, enjoying food from the cook-off, and letting kids join the egg hunt while soaking up the festive atmosphere along the Guadalupe River.

This free, family-friendly event is a popular spring tradition in Kerrville and a great way to kick off the Easter season with the community.
Paint-a-Bunny Easter Breakfast
A fun, come-and-go Easter patio event with painting, coloring, and treats for kids. All supplies are provided, and families can enjoy breakfast while the Chick-fil-A Cow hands out Easter goodies.
Free activity with food available for purchase
Kroc Hop 5K & Easter Eggstravaganza
A family-friendly 5K and fun run followed by an Easter celebration with activities for all ages. Run, walk, or hop your way through the course, then stick around—Easter festivities begin at 9:00 AM after the race.

Celebrate Bird Day with Mo Willems’ Pigeon by joining a fun scavenger hunt to find Pigeon and other iconic characters hidden throughout the library.
